White On!
How to style white denim
There are many denim treatments and styles that are deemed “in” or “out” throughout the seasons, but the white jean is one that tends to linger around each year waiting to make it into your wardrobe rotation. Unfortunately, it has become the black sheep of the denim family. We think it’s time for white denim to bask in it’s spotlight and shred the timelines and size restrictions it has become associated with!
Instead of waiting for Labor Day to pass (or are we supposed to wait for it to come?!) take the time to re-invent your wardrobe. Your navy blazer will look incredible paired with a flowy floral blouse and crisp white jeans for a fall day of shopping; and your brown cardigan will transform into the perfect cover up for that cool summer evening. You’ll be amazed at the combinations you can create just by inviting a pair of white jeans into your denim collection!
One of the most disheartening things we hear too often about white jeans is that you have to be slim to wear them. Absolutely not true. Whether you look good in a pair of jeans has nothing to do with the color, it has to do with the right fit. By simply wearing your true fit, you can achieve the same sexy silhouette with a white jean that you can with its dark denim counterpart! Check out Little in the Middle Confident Low Rise Bootcut or Empowered Mid Rise Bootcut jeans and also Svoboda's white flare jean.
Here are a few examples of how celebrities have styled their white jeans. Claudia Schiffer's monochromatic look brings attention to her accessories; Michelle Williams goes preppy with a button up shirt and nude flats, while Cameron Diaz and Jessica Biel keep it classic with neutral shades. For a similar look, try Red Engine's Scarlett Low Rise Bootcut or their Garnet Midrise Bootcut.

Emma Watson and Jessica Biel perfect the timeless marriage of black and white. These girls are a great example of how to incorporate white jeans into the different seasons! Angelina Jolie and Hilary Duff opt for a softer contrast by pairing their white jeans with grey hues, but choose different colored shoes to complete their style; both of which look great! For a similar look to Emma's, try Red Engine's Lotus Crop.

Vanessa Hudgens and Reese Witherspoon use pops of color to make their white jeans stand out.
