Walk The V-Neck Line

A plain white t-shirt; the no fuss-all year round-goes with everything-wardrobe staple. What better gift could there be to give this ‘practical gift' giving year? (Besides a classic pair of jeans of course!)

Celebrities in white t-shirts

The most coveted style is the slouchy deep-v neck, which is inspired by a man's undershirt. Men everywhere breathed a sigh of relief when brands, such as Red Engine, started making jeans for women in a ‘boyfriend' fit, but with this trend there is no need for panic! Celebrities, such as Jessica Alba and Lauren Conrad, have been turning to LnA t-shirts for their simple and understated chic looks. Designers Lauren Alexander and April Leight created these super soft, loose fitting shirts to look like a man's t-shirt, but cut to flatter women. With their amazing fits, versatility and bright color range, LnA is receiving some deserved rave reviews from Vogue, InStyle and Nylon magazines.

No need for jealousy guys- LnA also has a men's line using the same ultra-soft cotton! Celebrities such as Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom and Gavin Rosdale have been seen looking undeniably and understatedly cool.

I've also heard that James Pearse has finely tuned the vintage feel, but I haven't actually tried those on. Does anyone have any other suggestions for finding that perfectly worn in t-shirt?

Celebrities are not only influencing the fashion world by what they wear, but they are also bringing attention to the many charities around the world through their fashion choices. One of those charities is OmniPeace, a non-profit organization whose goal is to end extreme poverty by 2025. Celebrity supporters, such as Sienna Miller, Jennifer Aniston, Eva Longoria and Kevin Costner, are able to spread the word through the power of being in the public eye.

Another celebrity finding his way to help out is Brad Pitt. He founded the Make It Right Foundation when he saw the devastating destruction in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina hit. Their goal is to be a catalyst for redevelopment of the Lower 9th Ward and to rebuild safe homes as quickly as possible. Pitt was involved in designing all the eco-friendly clothing available on their site.

A cheaper alternative would be American Apparel's deep v.
