I am a married male . I have found that reading some of your comments and follow ups it turns out many guys like to wear women jeans . I have found that i really like the fit and feel of these jeans from old navy the jeans are called the flirt . They fit me great they feel wonderful and they look really good .
The stretch provides the big difference and the lower rise and shorter zipper help them hug my waist instead of falling off me like all mens jeans . The main problem is my wife thinks i should never wear them because they are women's?? what can i do in this situation . If the store would toss the same jeans with no difference in them onto the men's rack it would then be ok . my wife has admitted the jeans look and fit good and can pass as men's jeans but she don't want me wearing them outside? please help?

I've always had trouble buying jeans. My jeans bunch up in the front, are much too tight in the crotch area, and are always too long. Is there such thing as a perfect pair of jeans for ME?

Hi Julie,

I recently purchased some custom made jeans. The fit is tight (intentional, I wanted a slim/skinny fit in the hip & thigh area), but still comfortable since they are made of a stretch denim. The only problem I have is in the back where my butt meets my thighs the denim tends to bunch up when standing straight. Is this to be expected to some degree, or can I adjust some of the measurements (hip, thigh, rise, etc) to eliminate this next time? If so, how should they be adjusted?

Hi,
I am a 30 something black/latin male. I have a curse..hehe..which is I have a butt and thick thighs from working out a lot. Can you recommend some styles of jeans that will cover my butt, and not make me look like I am about to go to some gay parade..also something that can suit a man of my age yet not let me look like my father and the aarp members he runs with..

Dear Julie,
I found this site and am so excited with hope that you can help me.. I have a flat butt and small, but lot bigger waist, I have never found jeans that fit in waist that dont leave a saggy butt. I am 5'5 with average long legs that are skinny, i mean real skinny, i have always had this problem except in high school, also Julie I now have an illness that makes my stomach distended, so exercise wont help stomach.
I just need help bad, i know there has got to be a brand that would fit me..

Ok I am petite. My legs are pretty short so all my jeans get stepped on and ripped and get wet everytime I wear them. I am not only petite but also plus size. I am a petite plus sized big boobed girl with absolutely no ass. It doesnt matter if the jeans fit perfect they fall and show butt crack. I wear belts, I get jeans that are NOT low rise and it doesnt matter. If I am wearing pants, shorts, or skirts most likely the crack is showing. I have this odd thing called lower back fat instead of an ass. I dress gothic really but I'll wear just about any jean. Help..I really can't take not being able to wear pants, etc with the butt crack showing. Manufactures obviously dont know how to make shirts that are longer and cover up ones back when they sit down, or they assume everyone if flat chested or something. so please please help me fix this problem

Hi Julie,

I'm 5'8 and I have the hardest time finding jeans to fit me. I have really wide hips and everytime I think that I find a pair of jeans I can't get them either past my thighs or past my hips. I'm not skinny but I don't consider myself fat either. I usually wear a size 13 or 14. I feel like I have a pear shape body. Please if you could give me a suggestion on what jeans to buy that would be great!

I have been trying to get someone to manufacture oriental jeans for me for a couple of months with no real takers. I made several pair of prototype jeans with the zipper in the inner leg seams and then got a friend of mine to model them and took pictures. A couple of days ago just to see if there was any interest I put a pair of them up for sale on the friendster free classifieds. I was just putting the ad there to get people who were looking for cloths to see my idea. I decided at the last minute to put a price on the jeans that I did'nt think anybody would possible pay for the jeans. Below are three people who would. I don't have any oriental jeans to sell these people! I am contacting you in an effort to show that there would be a market for this kind of Jeans. Jessica wants 6 pair at $150.00 a pair by thursday of next week. What if this idea is really big. Take a look at my ideas a www.orientaljeans.com . You guys make jeans. Even if you don't want to make them how about helping me out. I need someone with expertise to make me some patterns for these jeans. Hey Julie,

Have you seen Rich & Skinny Jean's new website? It's actually pretty amazing what they have done with their online shopping section -- they have actually created a virtual showroom where six models appear in 3-D on the screen literally turning and striking poses for the shopper so they can see the jeans from every angle and get a great idea of the fit. You can even click on the models and it will zoom in and show you the entire jean from top to bottom in video detail. Of course, to find the True fit we still have to try them on ourselves, but the site really gives shoppers the best possible idea they can have online.

Thought you might think this was cool - maybe to post on the blog, but I'd like to know what you think?

Hi my husband wears levis 34-32 31 length would be good but not that popular. sometimes 36-32 and I buy him regular fit not slim because they are too snug on his fuller cut legs. He always has saggy butt in his jeans and he has a good body just has saggy butt in his jeans. Is there any help or suggestions. I bought Lee jeans and they did not hold up at all when the saged they riped in the crotch so the denim wasn't as good as levi's. Thank you for your time.

I am looking for a pair of jeans that fit me right. I am 5'3" tall. I have a short torso, a waist of 26" and powerful thighs. All the jeans I owned are big in the waist and makes my butt look small. I also have narrow hips. Please help me with a brand that can meet all of the above.

hi Julie i was wondering if you could suggest jeans that are tight on the tight. after a day of wearing my jeans the tights get very loose and it looks beggy and falling off my butt. if the thighs fit tightly my waist has a small muffin top. will the waist get more loose as i wear if if i go a size down?

I just placed my first order with True Jeans (I'm very excited), but now the website is showing that the jeans I just ordered are not a good fit. In fact, it doesn't show any stars at all; I could have sworn it was just over 4 stars when I first saw it. Is this a problem with the website? Or will I have a return on my hands?

I love the idea of truejeans, and the fit profile! unfortunately, it only came up with 4 or 5 full length jeans for me, mostly from the same brand: Kasil. I wouldn't be comfortable spending that much money without trying them on, but i've never seen them in stores.
My problem is that I'm 6'2". Most brands "long" jeans are still too short! express jeans are the closest I've found to fitting, but I've got a narrow waist and wide hips, so their jeans usually gap at the top. I usually wear a 35 inch inseam if i can get it. ( I don't know my waist size, but i usually wear a size 10, whatever that means!) Any recommendations you've got would be great!

I can NEVER find jeans that fit my body 'just right.' I am 5'3" and I have a big butt and thighs.. No matter what type, size, style or brand of jeans that I try on, it's always the same. Big in the waste, tight on the thighs and about 3-5 inches too long.. Please help!!! I just need to find a brand of jeans that caters to shorter woman with curves. I do not care how much I have to pay.. I just want jeans that fit!

Hi Julie,
What do you think about men wearing womens jeans---I'm serious. Because I don't like the bagginess and roomy thighs of typical mens jeans. Normally a slim jean is not slim enough with many styles for me and I'm not really into the skinny jean. I'm a thin guy, about 6 feet tall and barely 150 and I was looking at a pair of 1921 jeans for women. It's stretch denim but does that matter with my physique? I appreciate your comments--thankyou.

Hi Julie! I created a profile and it suggested a number of jeans for me, some of which were skinny jeans. Because of my proportions, I know for a fact that skinny jeans don't work (I have thick thighs and calves). What do you think the problem could be if I am being honest in my measurements, but my results still don't fit properly because the thigh is way too tight?

Hi Julie,

I have a very short torso and long legs so I have trouble finding jeans that fit properly. Petite sizing is way too short and regular jeans are either too low..I am 48 y/o and don't want my stomach area really exposed, or they are too high and make my torso look even shorter - not a good look at all! Kind of recently I bought some Seven jeans, with a slightly high waist. In the thigh and hip area, they fit very well. But, in the waist they're a little on the big side; wearing a belt kind of helps. I also noticed that when I walk, sometimes the front (by the crotch area) makes this odd noise/ruching. Although I could have fit into a smaller size, I opted for the slightly larger size. It's way too late to take them back. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Does this noise mean that I should have gone one size smaller?

Hey Julie. I'm 16 and 5'5 and I have wide hips and a big butt. I'm also athletic so I have big thighs and calves. However, I have a small waist. A few months ago I was measured for a wedding and got 34 in the waist and 43 in the hips. It is so difficult to find pants that fit nice.If they fit my thighs and hips, they make them look big and are way to big in the waist. I'm starting to not like shopping anymore. Maybe you can help me!

I have always had trouble finding jeans. If they fit on top, they dont fit on bottom, vice versa. I HATE to wear baggy jeans, but i have a belly that makes me LOOK like im 3 months pregnant, and at times i have the jeans going where they shouldnt go and have to wear a long shirt to cover, i can't tell you when the last time it was i was able to tuck a shirt in, i tried on 6 pairs of jeans today and none of them fit,is there any jeans out there for me,

Julie: I came in for a fitting in May just before I moved to LA - I bought two pair of Kasil jeans. My question of what kind of shoes do you think go well with these jeans - mine are boot cuts. My Luchese boots look great with jeans. My flip-flops and tennis shoes do not. Also, my formal cap-toe and wing-tip type of dress shoes don't seem appropriate either. What shoes do you recommend for a 43 year old man going out on the town in jeans in LA?

i found you through claudia and grumperina.
i have taken the plunge, measured myself, and gotten a list of jeans on the website. i have a small waist and curvy hips (25/37) but my biggest problem with all pants are the thickness of my legs my BELOW the thigh. from mid-thigh to ankle they are big.
the 4 jeans in my shopping cart include: iT diva, lucky sweet n low, little in the middle tab front midrise, and the worn lou casey

of these four, which 2 do you think are my best bets?

Hi Julie,

Women come in all different shapes: long legs, short waist, athletic thighs, classic hourglass, a little tummy, more than a little behind, and so on.

Jeans come in equally numerous varieties: different cuts, washes, and details. Button-fly, flap pockets, tab closures - you've got them all!

What are the most flattering jean styles for different body shapes? Who should avoid cropped jeans, for instance? And who would look fabulous in an ultra low rise? Are some colors/washes more flattering for hourglass shapes than others?

Why are there no plus sizes for jeans? I was very excited to hear about your site, hoping it would help my jeans problem. Alas, I find yet another site that talks the good talk, but when I went through and input all my data, there were *no* results whatsoever.

Also, on one of the pages, when it asks about the jeans you "usually buy" I could not input what I usually buy because the waistband is typically 10 or so inches bigger than my waist, and my waist size was the largest you could input as a jeans waistband size. What's up with that?

I typically have to take the waist of my jeans in 10 inches or so, which results in a large dip in the backside; I've eliminated some of this problem by taking up some of the fabric as a dart into the front pocket. The jeans fit, but they are unattractive at the waist, so I have to make sure my waist area is always covered. (My waist is 34 inches, my hips are 56 inches.)

Got any advice for me, or am I doomed to look like a lump in my jeans forever?

Hi Julie... I am an asian chick with a wide hips, but a small waist... Which is hard to find a good pair of jeans to fit into, because I have to have a bigger size for my hips, but then a belt to not crack the world! Anyway... I found a pair of jeans at a Vanity store. They are called Sparrow... They are a boy cut jeans which fit me rather nicely, however I have been having a problem... Whenever I sit down the zipper part tends to lump up... Not too attractive... And now I've been noticing that that little lump is still there even though I am standing! Would a different pair of jeans fix the problem?? What to you suggest? I wear 31x29... And I am 5'3", longer legs, short torso... What do you suggest?
